Wedding Date and Place!!!

Hello again! I know I have been a little MIA lately with the holidays and everything but I am back! I wanted to let everyone know that we have decided on a place and a date for our wedding. We will be married on November 1st, 2008 at Eagle Glen Golf Club. There is a lot to do, so I will update you later on all the details. Bye for now!

Ocean Views

It is so nice waking up in the morning and hearing the ocean waves... :)

We moved over this weekend and bought tons of new stuff for our place. Everything from cleaning supplies to bookcases, we bought it all. Between Target and bed Bath & Beyond, we spent too much and have a full house again. We did however throw out a lot of stuff. Vickie threw away 2 boxes of shoes and a box of clothes which is a big deal for her. (I was proud)

There were a few items that i could not take with me to the new place such as a desk, lamp, and TV stand. I posted the items on Craigslist this morning and within 5 min. have a list of people that want them! It is amazing when you post something for FREE everyone wants them, but the second you want $1 for anything no one wants it.

Moving Fun!!!

That's right, we are almost done moving into our new place in Pacifica! We have been working really hard the past few days to get everything moved, but tomorrow is all of the big and heavy stuff. Wanna help? :) I will not be able to post the next few days as I will be busy setting everything up at the new place. Stay posted for ring pictures and pictures of the new place!

Birthday Fun

Well, yesterday was my 24th birthday and it was an exciting one! I woke up early to get a lot of work done so that I could leave early and celebrate with my fiance... That was the plan at least...

I get to work and 30 min later I get a call from Vickie saying that the apartment was flooding! What a way to start. They had to rip up most of the carpet but nothing of mine was damaged. All in all it was OK because we are moving this week to our new place overlooking the ocean. :)

Weekend with the Parents and Sister

I know, I know... i promised photos of the ring and of this weekend, but we didn't have the cord to hook up the camera to the computer! Vickie's mom and dad are going to e-mail me the pictures ASAP, and I promise the second I have them I will post them here on the blog. :) Thanks again for all of the comments, we love em'! Talk to you tomorrow (my birthday).

Thanks everyone! We will be posting pictures of this weekend (Vickie's family is visiting) and photos of her ring by early next week. We are moving into our new place over Thanksgiving weekend (over looking the ocean) so we will post photos from that as well. Ben and Vickie are Engaged!!!

Hello All,

In case you haven't heard, Benjamin asked Vickie Lynn to marry him! (He's lucky she said yes) He asked her on October 28th of 2007 at Vista Point overlooking San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge on a clear night.

So now that we are engaged, now what?

Let the planning begin!

Vickie's parents and sister will be visiting us this weekend to kick off the planning. Most "Brides to Be" like to take control of the planning, but my "How to be a Groom" book says I should help out and inject myself where ever I can. Check back to see how I have been doing. :)

We do not have an exact date yet, but we are thinking Fall of 2008. We will be holding the ceremony in southern California, but once again nothing has been set in stone so we do not have an exact location. Keep checking back for more information about when and where the wedding will take place.
